Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026. This summary explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Doctaz (“we”, “us”) builds software that connects patients with doctors and nurses worldwide. Protecting the information entrusted to us — especially health data — is fundamental to that mission. This policy applies to our websites and applications.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — name, contact information, role and, for providers, professional credentials.
- Clinical information — records, notes, appointments and messages you or your care team enter.
- Usage data — device, log and interaction data used to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the platform, enable appointments and telehealth, process billing, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
3. Health information
Clinical data is handled as confidential. Access is role-based and logged, encrypted in transit and at rest, and processed only to deliver care and operate the service on behalf of the facilities and providers who are the custodians of that data.
4. When we share
We share information only with your care team, with service providers bound by contract, and where required by law. Cross-border transfers use appropriate safeguards.
5. Your rights & choices
Depending on your region you may access, correct, export or delete your information, and object to certain processing. Requests can be made through your account or by contacting us.
